Since last Thursday with the welcome dinner and until this Saturday, the Provincial Sports Secretariat organizes the first Provincial corresponding to the “Correntinos Games 2022”, a qualifying competition for the Evita Nationals of Mar del Plata.
The first provincial phase of these 2022 games covers the disciplines: Table Tennis (Club Regatas). Tennis (Club San Martin). Boxing (Club Workshops). Judo (Club Regatas). Badminton (Sports Secretariat). Artistic Gymnastics (Balance Gym).
The “Correntinos Games 2022”, classify the representatives of the Province to the National Evita in sports: conventional, adapted, and for older adults.
It is presented as a program organized and directed by the Secretary of Sports of the Government of the Province, articulating tasks with the General Directorate of Physical Education of the Ministry of Education and the 74 communes.
For this 2022 edition, a total participation of more than 50 thousand athletes in 44 disciplines is estimated in the different phases of the competition for young people in conventional and adapted sports; and Older Adults.
Conventional and Adapted Youth sports cover ages 12-18. While the older adults will be in the category +60 years.
