Jamal Musiala (19) was the outstanding player in the 6-1 win in Frankfurt, just like in the Supercup in Leipzig, scoring two goals to make it 4-0 and 6-1. Simply terrific, the super teenager! And Musiala now gets a regular place guarantee!
Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic (45) on BILD demand: “He’s in a very good mood, scores goals, is important for our game – why should he be left out?”
After winning the Supercup, trainer Julian Nagelsmann (35) raved about Musiala: “That was world class today. When he plays like that, it’s impossible to imagine the team without him.”
But Musiala becomes a problem for another mega-star: Leroy Sané (26) was only on the bench in both games – because Musiala played in his position. And Kingsley Coman (26/banned in Frankfurt) is still there…
For Sané, that could also be tricky for the World Cup in Qatar: national coach Hansi Flick (57) demands that his stars have to play regularly in order to have a place in the starting eleven at the World Cup. And on the other hand, he’s a big Musiala fan himself!
He could take over Bayern’s offensive system with Musiala on the left almost 1-1. Sané was also recently counted at the DFB.
Does Sané even make the departure from Munich?
As the newspaper “Mirror” (England) reports, Manchester United are interested in the winger! Bavaria does not want to give up Sané (contract until 2025). Clear announcement from Salihamidzic yesterday on Sky90: “There’s nothing to it. Leroy is an important player for us, there is nothing more to say about that.” Sané also feels at home in Munich with his family.
