Appointed head of the Béjart Balley Lausanne Foundation Board, Giancarlo Sergi will not leave the presidency of Swiss Basketball. The boss of Swiss basketball, on the other hand, will give up his place in the executive committee, he explained in the columns of 24 Hours and La Liberté.

“Being president of the Federation and director of the Béjart Ballet is not incompatible”, he assures in La Liberté. “I will not have two 100% to manage”, continues the Lausanne resident, specifying that he would start at a reduced rate in September at Béjart Ballet (80%) and that he would resign from the executive committee of Swiss Basketball.

“I will no longer have an operational role at Swiss Basketball. I made a commitment to do this. On the other hand, I will retain the chairmanship of the Board of Directors.
