The Kevin Durant file continues to react to the four corners of the league, including in his former franchise of the Warriors. A California locker room executive has just given his opinion on this subject… and quickly regretted it!
Not a single league figure can claim to have escaped the news. Kevin Durant wants to leave the Nets this summer, and reiterated his request to his leaders a few days ago. Without this leading to real changes vis-à-vis his departure. While waiting for this soap opera to be settled, everyone goes there with their incendiary outing concerning them, even at the Warriors.
Andre Iguodala slammed for his opinion on Kevin Durant
Durant’s former teammate during his time at Golden State, Andre Iguodala also doesn’t know what his future will hold. Without a contract after his title acquired with the Dubs, the 38-year-old winger is content for the moment to react to the news of the league in his podcast Point Forward. It is in this context that he advised KD to continue his journey in Brooklyn, with rather strong words:

“I think he should stay in Brooklyn, it’s such a big market, it’s good for the game and just figure out how to make it work like everybody grow up and make it work. That’s how I feel about the situation.”

I think he should stay in Brooklyn. It’s such a big market. It would be better for the game, and he better figure out how to make it all work like everyone else. Growing up and understanding how to fix things. That’s how I see this situation.
Not sure the Slim Reaper likes it, let alone considering Iguodala’s passive.
Respected in the NBA, Iggy has yet initiated a few arm wrestling similar to that of Durant in his career. Internet users were also happy to remind him of this to make his speech wobbly:

Wanting to ride the wave of the Kevin Durant saga, Andre Iguodala has drawn the ire of fans for his previous escapades of the same kind. It also seems surprising that the leader of the Nets did not also condemn these remarks, he who is usually so talkative on Twitter!
