The Trégunc Badminton Club is organizing this Sunday, August 21, at La Pinède, its first Breton shuffleboard tournament. Games will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the stadium. The tournament will be played in doubles according to the official rules of the FNSMR (National Federation of Sport in Rural Areas). Due to the work in progress at the sports hall, the club has obtained authorization to occupy the football pitch located below the main pitch.
“This first tournament is an opportunity to target both the inhabitants of Trégunc and the tourists. Some of our licensees practice this sport and have taken part in a tournament organized in Pont-Aven. We are counting on the presence of around thirty pairs, ”says Cindy Dréo, president of the TBC. The rules of this game are very simple. To score points, all you have to do is show skill when throwing pucks on the board, so as to get as close as possible to the small puck.
