4 NBA players coach the Basketball Without Borders Asia camp

Basketball Without Borders Asia kicked off its 12th camp on Sunday, with four NBA players coaching young players throughout the four-day event.

Chicago Bulls guard Coby White, Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen, Dallas Mavericks wing Josh Green and Phoenix Suns wing Cam Johnson traveled to Australia to train the top 60 male and female candidates from 15 Asia Pacific countries.

According to the NBA, 41 former Basketball Without Borders players were on the 2021-22 opening night roster. Josh Giddey played in the same Asian camp in 2018, and Australian native Green was a member of BWB Global in Los Angeles in 2018.

Basketball Without Borders is an international program organized by the NBA and FIBA. Since its inception in 2001, there are 64 camps in 30 countries with more than 3,800 participants from 133 countries and territories. BWB had 105 former members who went on to play in the NBA or WNBA.
