After two years of more or less fruitful collaboration, including a new Grand Slam final played at Wimbledon 2021 (defeat against Barty), Karolina Pliskova has decided to dismiss her coach, Sascha Bajin, former coach of Kristina Mladenovic, Sloane Stephens or by Victoria Azarenka.
Injured at the start of the season, the Czech never found her rhythm, her best result being a semi-final at the Strasbourg tournament. Eliminated in the second round at Wimbledon, the 15e world player therefore decided to turn the page with a coach whom she wanted to thank on her social networks.
