Linda Caicedo state of health after Colombia vs Chile match: ambulance, stretcher | Colombia selection

This Wednesday, the Colombian National Team achieved a very important victory against Chile with a 4-0 result, achieving the perfect score in group A, to face the final phase in Bucaramanga.

One of the issues that greatly concerned the Colombian public that was in the stadium was Linda Caicedo’s withdrawal on a stretcher, seconds after being substituted at 83 minutes into the game, leaving for Gabriela Rodríguez.

At the end of the game, the national team coach, Nelson Abadía, explained what happened and gave a piece of calm:

“Linda had a decompensation after the change, but she is fine now, she is stable; that is, nothing serious, she is fine”.

He added that “the change came at the right time, Linda had been playing a very good game, brilliant at times, and she was in good shape physically.”

The National Team qualified for the final phase of the Copa América Femenina, where it awaits Argentina or Venezuela, in a match that will take place next Monday, July 25, in Bucaramanga.
