The Toronto “Raptors” team, represented by Kuruc in the Summer League, defeated the Miami “Heat” with a score of 88:78 (20:18, 28:17, 22:14, 18:29).

In the 25 minutes and 11 seconds spent on the court, Kurucs made five of six two-point shots and one of two three-pointers, but missed his only free throw. He also had five rebounds, one assist, one block, two turnovers, three fouls and a team-best +/- (+13).

In the “Raptors” team, Dalano Bantons was the top scorer with 18 points and six rebounds, while Kyle Olmens, who represented the Latvian club “VEF Rīga” in the 2020/2021 season, scored 17 points for the opponents.

On the other hand, the Washington “Wizards” represented by Žagar defeated the Indiana “Pacers” with a score of 97:79 (16:17, 29:23, 35:22, 17:17).

Žagar played 19 minutes and 49 seconds on Friday, making his only two-point shot and one of four long-range shots. The Latvian also had one rebound, two fouls, three points and a positive +/- indicator (+8).

Jordan Shackel scored 21 points, had seven rebounds and five assists for the “Wizards” team. Kendall Brown scored 14 points for the opponents.

One of the three NBA Summer League tournaments will take place in the US city of Las Vegas until Sunday. On the last day of the tournament, the “Raptors” and “Wizards” teams will play one match each.
