Transfer jerk at VfB Stuttgart: Miroslav Klose wants offensive talent – Bundesliga

Now the squad planning at VfB is picking up speed!

According to BILD information, attacker Juan José Perea (22) will switch to VfB Stuttgart. Only the last details have to be clarified. First Greek newspapers and the “kicker” reported about it.

Stuttgart has to pay around EUR 2.5m for the striker plus a further EUR 500,000 in possible bonus payments to the Greek first division club PAS Ioannina. The Colombian thus becomes Stuttgart’s first summer transfer and the most expensive exit in PAS Ioannina’s history. Central defender Konstantinos Mavropanos (24) also grew up at the club, moving to Arsenal in 2018 for €2.1m.

Is Perea already the replacement for Sasa Kalajdzic (25), who is about to say goodbye in Stuttgar?

Perea scored ten goals and three assists in 32 games last season. As a type of player, however, he is assessed differently than Kalajdzic. Perea is not a classic centre-forward, but repeatedly switches to the wing. There the speedster, who was born in Bogota, can show off his speed and dribbling strength. At 1.81 meters tall, he is also significantly smaller than the two-meter giant Kalajdzic. But Perea is considered robust and strong in duels.

As such, he is more like ex-Stuttgart players Omar Marmoush (23/ after a loan back to Wolfsburg) and Erik Thommy (27/ Kansas City).

Negotiations are also on the home stretch for Josha Vagnoman (21/HSV). VfB sports director Sven Mislintat (49) has already emphasized that there will be no further offer from VfB. VfB has had an agreement with the player for a long time, Vagnoman really wants to go to Stuttgart. He would sign a contract there until 2026.

Stuttgart offers 4.3 million euros plus bonuses and a resale participation (ten percent), will not and cannot stretch any further. The right-back was absent from the Hanseatic team’s training session on Thursday and completed an individual unit in the weight room. If everything goes according to plan, Vagnoman should travel to the training camp in the Allgäu with VfB on Saturday.

Alexis Tibidi (18), on the other hand, is about to say goodbye. The Frenchman became a shooting star last season and made 13 Bundesliga appearances. With recurring lack of discipline, however, the great talent blocked a permanent affiliation with the professionals themselves.

A loan to SCR Altach (Austria) should now take Tibidi further. Coach there is world champion Miroslav Klose (44).
