The first legality trophy is underway

To inaugurate the new 5-a-side football and badminton pitch, the first «Legality Trophy – City of Caravaggio» is launched.

Thanks to the contribution granted by the Lombardy Region with the “Sport Outdoor” tender (which covered 92 thousand 800 euros out of an expense of 116 thousand euros ed.), The municipal administration has built the new structure in the park in via Einaudi, to redevelop with the sporting activity a peripheral area that in the past has given rise to criticalities and is potentially exposed to degradation. For this reason, the baptism will be special: on Friday 15 July, the first “Legality Trophy – City of Caravaggio” will take place, a quadrangular five-a-side football open to teams of local administrators and law enforcement agencies serving in the area. At 6.15 pm the parish priest monsignor Giansante Fusar Emperor will give the blessing to the field and to those who use it to have fun, then kick off the competition.

The draw

Today, Wednesday 13 July, the draw for the teams was held in the council chamber. The hand of Chiara Tadolti, of the General Affairs Area of ​​the Municipality, extracted from one of the cups, used as an urn, the following combinations: Administrators vs State Police (18.20) and Arma dei Carabinieri vs Guardia di Finanza (19.10). At 8 pm final third quarter and final place at 8.50 pm, followed by the award ceremony. Mayor Claudio Bolandriniwho is expected to be on the pitch, also presented his team’s jersey.
