After a testicular tumor was discovered in Hertha professional Marco Richter (24) last week, BVB newcomer Sebastien Haller (28) was diagnosed with the same thing yesterday.
The striker left the training camp in Bad Ragaz (Switzerland) and is receiving medical treatment.

Timo Baumgartl (26) also reported on Instagram. The Union professional was diagnosed with a testicle tumor in May, since then the central defender has been fighting back with chemotherapy and is about to return to training soon.

There are other examples in football that give Haller hope. In 2016 Marco Russ (35) fell ill with testicular cancer. The defender underwent surgery a few days later, made his comeback almost ten months later and was in the semi-finals of the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2019.
