It was one of the most popular summer events last year: the late nights at the La Baule market, with musicians, jugglers, street performances, craftsmen and designers, and a service catering, with local products offered by market traders.
This year, every Friday, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., from July 15 to August 19 inclusive, the city of La Baule is renewing this operation. A novelty: thematic evenings are organized on the theme, New-Orleans on July 29 and Hypnosis on August 12. Fire-eaters will also give demonstrations at 10 p.m. For children, there will be giant inflatable structures, old wooden games, but also archery.
Laurence Briand, assistant for attractiveness and economic development, underlines that the municipality has put human and material resources, in particular to ensure the security of this event, with five security officers who will be positioned at the five entry points. The site will be protected by police barriers and the municipal police will make regular rounds. In terms of equipment, there will be 75 tables, 600 chairs, a central podium and 3 musical stages for the shows.
