Reišulis celebrates his victory at the stage of the European Motocross Championship in Belgium

The young Latvian motor sportsman Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis won the seventh stage of the European Championship 125 cubic centimeter class (EMX125) on Sunday, while Kārlis Alberts Reišulis took the third place.

On Saturday, in the first race, Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis finished in the second position, giving way to the overall leader of the European Championship, the Dutchman Kaas Falk. Kārlis Alberts Reišulis, who took fourth place, remained outside the top three. Roberts Lusis and Uldis Freibergs won places in the top twenty, finishing in 12th and 16th place respectively, while Martins Platkevičs ranked in 32nd position.

On Sunday, in the second race, Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis improved his result and won first place, while Kārlis Alberts Reišulis took third place. Lusis and Freibergs, who ranked 22nd and 15th respectively, slipped lower, and Platkevičs finished in 32nd place in the final race.

Jānis Mārtiņš Reišulis won the stage, accumulating 47 points. The second place was taken by the Czech Julius Mikula with 43 points, while the third place was taken by Kārlis Alberts Reišulis with 38 points. Freiberg finished the competition in 14th position with 13 points, Lusis took 19th place with nine points, but Platkevičs did not get any points.

Falks is the leader in the EMX125 class standings after seven out of nine stages with 289 points, while Kārlis and Jānis Reišulis are in the second and fourth positions with 254 and 226 points, respectively. J.Reišulis represents the “KTM Motofavoritis” team, while K.Reišulis is under the auspices of the factory team “MJC Yamaha”.
