Quino Colom, in Girona | ACB.COM

Joaquín ‘Quino’ Colom Barrufet (Andorra La Vella, 1988) is a new Bàsquet Girona player for the 2022-23 season. The Andorran base (188 cm.) has experience in the ACB and the Euroleague and is international with the Spanish basketball team.

Trained in the lower categories of Baloncesto Club Andorra and Lleida Baloncesto, Colom made his debut in the EBA category EM El Olivar (2006-07) before making the leap to LEB Oro: CB Hospitalet (2007-08) and Lleida Baloncesto ( 2008-09), a team linked to the CAI Zaragoza of ACB, where it would debut in the highest category.

With 249 games in the Endesa League, the Andorran player has worn the shirt of Basketball Fuenlabrada (2009-13), CB Estudiantes (2013-14), Bilbao Basket (2014-15), Valencia Basket (2019-20) and Baskonia (2020-21).

Colom also has European experience with Russian Unics Kazan (2015-18), Turkish Bahçesehir Basketbol (2018-19), Serbian Red Star (2020-21) and Greek AEK Athens (2021-22). He has experience in the Euroleague, the Eurocup and the Basketball Champions League.

Quino Colom has been an international with the Spanish basketball team since 2015, with whom he won the Basketball World Cup in China in 2019.
