After his second place in a fifth on the Enghien speed course, Fine Perle Of Love (n° 5) was one of the priorities of the event race and confirmation from him was expected this Saturday. The resident of Emmanuel Varin did not miss this great opportunity and won the Prix Dominique Savary in a pleasant way. On the winners’ podium, Matthieu Abrivard, who won his 148th quinté, was warmly congratulated by several of his fans, while he was rewarded by the brother of the late journalist, to whom LeTrot paid tribute. “She’s a mare who has a lot of ease,” says the winning rider about the one who shines for the second time in this category. Everything was in place to do well today, with a good number behind the autostart. For the coach, Emmanuel Varin, this is his fifteenth victory at this level.
While making a reappearance in competition, Lou’s Elmagnificent (n° 14) behaves honorably and takes the first runner-up. Fynio du Pommereux (#10) and Evita Madrik (No. 1) cannot be separated in photography and share third place. Slightly behind, the favourite, Falco Berry (n° 7) was slightly disappointing and had to settle for fifth place.
Steavie Doussot indicated the trifecta in the disorder in seven horses.
