Nolan Arenado says yes to the United States for the World Classic

The talented third baseman of the St. Louis Cardinals, Nolan Arenado, brought great joy to baseball fans today, especially those who are American, as he confirmed his participation in the next World Baseball Classic, to be held in the first part of the year 2023. With this announcement he became just the third gringo slugger to ensure his stay in the highest fair at the national team level.

Unlike what happens with the World Cups of other disciplines, in baseball there is always the latent possibility that the top stars will not show up at the fair, since there are certain impediments on the part of the Major League teams due to the wear and tear that it produces and also the risk that your investment runs when players have to expose their physical and sporting integrity in this type of event.

However, it seems that for the World Cup of the king of sports to be held next year, things are going from strength to strength, since not only Arenado claimed to uniform with the North American country, but also the figures Mike Trout, of the Angels of Los Angeles, and Trevor Story of the Boston Red Sox.

This addition of Nolan greatly raises the level of the US team for what will be the defense of the championship that they obtained in 2017 by defeating Puerto Rico in the final of that contest by a score of 8-0.

Currently and for several years Arenado is considered the best third baseman in the game and his numbers and awards prove it. In the Big Top he has won 4 Silver Sluggers, 9 Gold Gloves and 5 Platinum Gloves.
