Free agent Duane Brown was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport for possession of a concealed firearm.
Brown is scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court on August 3 for his hearing.
According TMZ, the firearm, which was not loaded, was found in his suitcase by a security guard. He was arrested at 3:08 p.m. Saturday.
The tackle is 36 years old and played 17 games for the Seattle Seahawks last season. Brown was with the organization for five seasons before becoming a free agent. He has been selected for the Pro Bowl five times since the start of his career.
Drafted in the first round (26th overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans, he was later traded to the Seahawks in 2017.
