Both are great stand-ups, and it was exactly in that spirit that the first five-minute episode, which absorbed the audience, was carried out. There were very hard blows from both sides, but Jones had a slightly more lively impression, as he put pressure on his opponent by working at the net. However, Klein did not stay behind at all, he even dared to kick from the air, which in the case of bad coverage could easily mean a switch.
The thrilling game continued. Klein managed to hit from the retreat, he even caught the opponent with a hard combination while spinning the hammers, and there was almost a surprise. The Slovak representative in the most prestigious fighting organization tried to finish the shaken rival quickly, but Jones managed to tie the duel first, and then get out of the rough moments.
In the second round, the favored Jones shook off the grip and got angry himself. First he tried it with a bent knee, then he tried to find a recipe for the opponent even with the mesh. Klein, however, managed the second five-minute stage excellently and was closer to victory before the last lap.
The Welsh fighter got even further away from the win with a rather useless jump-up submission attempt, which quickly turned into a precarious situation. Klein managed to keep his opponent under him for a good three minutes, and the victory was closer and closer every second. Jones was still able to stand up in the end, but without the necessary strength, he did nothing with the match.
In the end, the interesting battle offered all three rounds, but Ľudovít Klein was happy with the unanimous verdict of the judges, who thus claimed his third win in the UFC. The 27-year-old batsman completely refuted the role of the outsider of the match and claims the most valuable scalp of his career.
