First back to the start of the Tour of 2019. Michael Valgren proudly shows on Instagram the framed photo he received from his mother. “She does this every year so I wouldn’t forget her.”
Luke Rowe doesn’t pass up the chance to write in the comment section “that she (ie Valgren’s mother) does the same for him”.
At that point it seems to stick with Rowe’s one joke, but apparently it has stuck with Valgren. 3 years later he takes revenge on his colleague.
With some photos from the rest day with his kids, Rowe captioned it: “Nothing recharges your batteries better than spending a day with these little people (plus my wife :-))”
A cross that Valgren does not fail to head in: “I also like to spend time with your wife,” he posts, with a heart.
