At 60 years old, he is in his prime. At 22 he was “a chubby boy who weighed 95 kilos, smoked since he was 11 years old and the first time I tried to walk five kilometers, I couldn’t even do three. That was my first failure and I realized that it couldn’t be,” says Luis Álvarez. The Ironman man embodies the passion for triathlons and sporting challenges since he did his first in 1992.
