Louis Marnette, from Roanne to Saint-Quentin

The young fullback Louis Marnette (1.93 m, 21 years old) left the Chorale de Roanne a year after his arrival to find the Pro B with the SQBB.

After several weeks of negotiations, Saint-Quentin formalizes its first moves with the signatures of Mathis Dossou-Yovo and Melvin Ajinca on Thursday, and that of Louis Marnette on Friday.

Arrived in Roanne in June 2021, the native of Valenciennes returns to Pro B. He had revealed himself the previous season at Souffelweyersheim where he had compiled 11.9 points at 47.1% on shots including 39.1% at 3- points, 3.7 assists and 3.2 rebounds for 12.2 rating in 28 minutes.

This season, the back was only turning 3.4 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.7 assists for 3.2 rating in 9 minutes on average in Betclic Elite.

He will find at the SQBB a coach he knows well, Julien Mahé, with whom he collaborated with the Espoirs du BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque between 2016 and 2019.
