The tournament began on Thursday and Bergua and Isábal fell in the first round in the doubles draw. For their part, Gállego and Yagües were exempt from playing the first round and in the second round they lost to the French Bouillot and Minez 21-13 and 24-22.

As for the individual draw, the best was Gonzalo Isábal. In the second round he beat the German Daniel Iman, one of the tournament’s top seeds, by 21-19 and 21-17 and got into the round of 16, in which he lost to the English Ou by 21-12 and 21-7. And in the second round they also said goodbye to the tournament Raúl Bergua, who lost in three tight sets against the number three in the tournament, the Frenchman Bouillot (11-21, 21-14 and 21-17), and Alejandro Gállego, who also sold expensive his skin to fight for three sets against the also French Dervaux (21-18, 17-21 and 21-11).
