La Major League Baseball (MLB) announced this Tuesday three replacements in the roster of the All-Star Game del 2022 which will be played next Tuesday, July 19.
In the American League, Red Sox designated hitter JD Martinez will fill in for the Astros’ injured Yordan Alvarez. It’s the fifth career All-Star call-up for Martinez, who finished second in the “Player’s Ticket” behind the Cuban.
In the National League, designated hitter for the MarlinsGarrett Cooper will fill in for the Phillies’ injured Bryce Harper, while Giants pitcher Carlos Rodon will go to the event in place of Brewers flamethrower Josh Hader, who is on the furlough list.
