In Auray, 200 badistes clashed at the Orchard during the recovery tournament – Auray

Deprived of a tournament for more than two years, the Alréennes badistes were eager to reconnect with the organization of the “Alréennes Feathers”, to find themselves, and above all to put a little butter in the spinach.

The thirteenth edition took place on Saturday July 9 and Sunday July 10 at the Le Verger sports complex in Auray. Two hundred players, it’s half less than usual, from Brittany, Paris, Puy-de-Dôme, Laon (02), Indre, competed in singles and doubles. After three consecutive cancellations, due to the pandemic, the Badminton club of Auray was eager to organize its tournament. “We knew we would have fewer people, but we had to relaunch the momentum… It’s our biggest event. Financially, we had to resume, ”explains President Laura Le Falher.

From Friday evening, for the installation in storage on Sunday, 25 volunteers, including four from the Plougoumelenois club Les Plumes du Len, took turns. The fourteenth Plumes Alréennes will take place on December 17 and 18.
