An in-house gymnasium will be built in Sachang-ri, Sae-myeon, Hwacheon-gun, Gangwon-do.
According to Hwacheon-gun on the 20th, the completion ceremony of the in-house gymnasium will be held on the 27th and full-scale operation will begin.
The in-house gym, which started construction in October 2019 with a project cost of 7.58 billion won, has a total area of 2447 square meters and is composed of indoor stadiums for badminton, basketball, foot volleyball, and futsal.
With the opening of the first indoor gymnasium in Sae-myeon, the living and sports environment of residents has been greatly improved, and with a spectator seat of 208 seats, various competitions such as taekwondo, table tennis, badminton, and wrestling, which were held in Hwacheon-eup, can be held in a distributed manner.
It can be used for various sports events such as children’s sports competitions and military service graduation ceremonies, as well as indoor events for local institutions and social groups.
