Kimberly Garcia Leon She has become one of the great winners, if not the biggest, at the Oregon World Championship after winning the 35-kilometre walk after also doing it last week in the 20-kilometre race. It is an even more bizarre historical double as the silver and bronze medals were also repeated, which fell again to the Polish Katarzyna Zdzieblo and the Chinese Shijie Qieyang.

Spain returned to stay at the gates of the medals. Raquel González finished fifth and Laura García-Caro entered in sixth position in a very tough test on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Eugene.
