Health for young and old

Bad Breisig.
The health days in the Roman thermal baths were an initiative of the Roman thermal baths and the Brohl mineral springs. The aim was to inform visitors about health issues in a compact daily program and to create awareness of health-oriented behavior in everyday life. Also present was the promotion association of the Roman thermal baths “Heart for the Roman thermal baths in Bad Breisig eV”. A wheel of fortune featuring the lucky fairy Christa Neunkirchen was very popular, and every lap turned resulted in a win. A large part of the profits, as well as the wheel of fortune, was sponsored by the mineral water bottler Brohler and the Bad Breisig Tourist Information. There were vouchers for mini golf, among other things, as the main prize. The wheel of fortune spinners included Mayor Marcel Caspers and the head of the Roman thermal baths, Bernd Schmitz. Back yoga, Aroha, Flexibar, children’s judo, Nordic walking, progressive muscle relaxation (PMR), Qigong / Tai Chi, XCO walking, fitness and health in old age, barefoot adventure trail were offered in and around the Roman thermal baths , activities for the little ones (playmobile and a bouncy castle), the IKK Südwest Aktiv – Mobil did a cardiovascular check, metabolic analysis, blood pressure measurement, analysis of mobility, senior gymnastics, back check and body composition and much more. There were interesting lectures such as From the source to the pool, power for the bones – healthy living with calcium, essential oils and sauna herbs. You could look over the shoulder of the sauna master and the open door in the fitness studio provided the best opportunity to find out about the possibilities for cardio training and muscle building in the large fitness studio. Annegret Sattler and Heike Resch, board members, agreed that the health days were a complete success and that they will be there again next year.
