The Austrian Grand Prix is overlaid with reports by women of sexualized harassment. Formula 1, drivers and team bosses condemn the events – there are other strange occurrences in the grandstands.
On Twitter, the user “@MotoMel89” had already made the first attempt on Saturday to initiate the debate, which then picked up so much momentum on Sunday that it superimposed the sporting events of Formula 1 at the race in Spielberg. First, however, it was still an observation that she formulated: “I’m really amazed to see so many tweets about fans at the #AustrianGP being harassed because of their gender or sexuality + people trying to deny it here or to downplay.”
