BOLASPORT.COM – The Metropolitan Police for the Greater City of London has arrested an English Premier League player involved in an alleged rape case.
An international footballer who plays in the Premier League has been reported to be involved in an alleged rape case.
This news was first reported by The Telegraph on Monday (4/7/2022) local time.
The unnamed player lives in the Barnet area which is part of the North London area.
The Metropolitan Police Service or the local police station in London received a report that day from a woman in her 20s.
“On July 4, allegations of rape against a woman in her 20s were reported to the police,” the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
“It was reported that the alleged rape took place in June 2022.”
“An investigation into this incident is ongoing,” the statement concluded.
