Apple TV+ users can now also watch live broadcasts of Major League Baseball games in Germany. Due to the time difference, however, the games start at nighttime. It starts tonight or early Saturday morning at just before half past twelve with the game between the Detroit Tigers and the Toronto Blue Jays.
In the second game tonight at 3:25 a.m. the Chicago Cubs and the San Francisco Giants meet. In the following weeks, two MLB matches will be shown on Apple TV+ on the night from Friday to Saturday. The transmission will also be broadcast here in the original in English.
Apple announced its commitment in this area back in March. The encounters will initially be broadcast for free, but in the long run the company undoubtedly wants to make money here as well. The situation is similar with regard to the broadcasts of the American football league Major League Soccer, which are also coming on Apple TV+. Here, Apple said as part of its June announcement that a limited number of games will be free to watch worldwide, but paid packages will be available for full access.
Neue Serien: „The Girl in the Water“ und „Amber Brown“
In addition to the baseball broadcasts, which are less popular in Germany, Apple also has The Girl in the Water Starting today, a new series follows a woman who has lost her memory and explores her true past. The first three episodes of the eight-part psychological thriller are available to watch on Apple TV+ starting today. Small detail: “The Girl in the Water” is the name of the series only here, in the USA Apple markets the production under the title “Surface”.
Also from today, Apple TV+ is available Amber Brown another new series revolving around a girl who discovers herself after her parents’ divorce.
