Five Ibizans at the international badminton events to be held on the island

There will be a presence from Ibiza in the Spanish teams that will participate in the international events that will be held on the island in September. There will be two weeks of competition that will start with the Spanish International under-17 and under-15 to be held from September 16 to 18. The Spanish federation has announced the list of volantistas that will be in the event and among the 20 selected there are two Ibizans. Ismael Oballe and Yulien Gil will enter the fray at sa Blanca Dona.

The national team made up by the coach and coach of Pitiús, Ernesto García, includes ten athletes born in 2007 from five Autonomous Communities and nine clubs. On the other hand, the technicians who will lead the Spanish team are Roberto González and Manuel Brea.

The athletes summoned are: Ismael Oballe (Ibiza), Alejandro Gallego and Alejandro Yagües (Huesca), Yulien Gil (Portmany), Rubén Carreras (Recreational IES La Orden), Macarena Fernández (Almería), Ángela Jiménez (Huelva), Rocío Martín ( Benalmádena), Daniela Corchón (Soria) and Alba Prada (San Amaro).
