The farewell to the long-time Latvian basketball coach Armandas Krauliņš will take place on Thursday, July 7, the Latvian Basketball Union (LBS) reports.

Krauliņš passed away on Friday at the age of 82.
Farewell to Krauliņš will take place on Thursday, July 7, at 11 a.m. in Riga, in the chapel of the 1st Meža cemetery.
Krauliņš enjoyed success with the men’s and women’s basketball teams during his career. The Latvian men’s basketball team under the leadership of Krauliņš played 107 games – a record recently surpassed by his student Ainars Bagatskis.
Krauliņš was awarded the Order of Three Stars for his services to Latvian basketball.
