[아시아경제 영남취재본부 황두열 기자] Dong-Eui University badminton club player Kang Kyung-moon became the strongest in the men’s singles team at the ‘2022 Korea Badminton Association Long-Term National Badminton Competition’ held at Wooseul Gymnasium in Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do from the 14th to the 21st.

Kyung-moon Kang defeated Hyun-seung Park of Wonkwang University with a set score of 2-0 (21-11, 21-15) in the men’s singles quarterfinals of the tournament to reach the final.

In the final, after a close match against Park Sang-yong of Hallym University, he won the championship with a set score of 2-1 (21-19, 20-22, 21-14).

Kyung-moon Kang, a senior in the class, is scheduled to join Suwon City Hall after graduating. A total of 53 teams and 390 players from colleges and universities across the country, including the national team, participated in the tournament.
