After spending five years in the United States, first in the NCAA (Tennessee) and then in the NBA (Grizzlies), Yves Pons returns to Europe.
Indeed, the 23-year-old winger has agreed to sign until 2024 with ASVEL, where he will bring all his energy, athletic qualities, mobility and explosiveness to the reigning three-time French champions.
Last season, the Frenchman played 12 games with Memphis, averaging 1.1 points and 1.0 rebounds. Spending most of his time in the G-League, with the Grizzlies affiliate team, where he averaged 9.4 points and 5.0 rebounds.
Yves Pons will therefore try to find playing time in Betclic Elite and in Euroleague, where he will fill in particular the departure of William Howard (Badalone) on the wing.
