Deportes Tolima today: goalkeeper Alexander Domínguez would arrive this Thursday at Liga de Quito | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

Not all adventures have happy endings. Now Alexander Domínguez, the starting goalkeeper of the Ecuadorian National Team, knows it. He was encouraged to come to Deportes Tolima to stay on top, but he would be ready to leave early.

The goalkeeper hoped to have more continuity but he has really had to share the position with Cuesta a lot and he has also made important mistakes, such as in the last final with Atlético Nacional, which have not helped him to establish himself.

Now he has understood that the best place to get that confidence he will need for the World Cup in Qatar, next November, is his country and he already has until a day set for his return.

The destination will be Liga de Quito, which has already opened space for him by not renewing the contracts of goalkeepers Adrián Gabbarini and Gonzalo Falcón, both injured.

According to journalist Andrés Villamarín, “Alexander Dominguez will arrive tomorrow afternoon to join @LDU_Oficial. Contract for 2 seasons. The settlements are being signed with Tolima so that the goalkeeper arrives for check-ups on Friday and immediately joins the discipline of Luis Francisco Zubeldia.”

The news is good for him and, on the rebound, for Aldair Quintana, who has been seeking a departure from Atlético Nacional for a long time and has already advanced in talks with coach Hernán Torres.
