David Peralta was traded from the Diamondbacks to the Rays

This Saturday afternoon, ESPN journalist Jeff Passan, one of the most direct sources of information about the Major League Baseball (MLB), announced that the Tampa Bay Rays reached an agreement to acquire the gardener David Peralta of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

In exchange for Peralta, the Rays would be sending minor league catcher Christian Cerda to the Diamondbacks.

Peralta, of Venezuelan origin, had spent his entire career with the Diamondbacks, a total of 9 seasons, making his debut in 2014, and since then has been a consistent player in the Major Leagues.
