INDOSPORT.COM – The Indonesian badminton women’s doubles sector is increasingly showing its existence, because a number of representatives continue to show rapid increases in the BWF rankings, especially the pair Apriyani Rahayu / Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has just released the latest world rankings on Tuesday (12/07/22), where there are a number of changes, especially in the Indonesian women’s doubles sector.

The Indonesian women’s doubles show a striking change, where almost all of its representatives have increased after the Malaysia Masters 2022 event was held last week.

The phenomenal women’s doubles pair that was recently paired, namely Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, once again received a considerable increase in world rankings.

Even though they were eliminated in the semifinals of the Malaysia Masters 2022, Apriyani/Fadia’s ranking continued to skyrocket as before.

Based on the release of the BWF world rankings, Apriyani/Fadia previously ranked 79th in the world the previous week, now their ranking has risen again.

The Malaysia Open 2022 champion managed to rank 62 in the world. This means that Apriyani/Fadia has increased by 17 ranks.

Even Apriyani/Fadia almost cornered her compatriot, the couple Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi.

The pair who are familiarly called Ana/Tiwi also got points after the Malaysia Masters 2022, which is now sitting in 51st position in the world. So this means that Apriyani/Fadia is only 11 places away from Ana/Tiwi.

However, if Ana/Tiwi make a brilliant achievement at the Singapore Open 2022 championship which is currently being followed, it is not impossible that they will break into the top 50 and widen the gap with Apriyani/Fadia.
