Dortmunds Prince Aning (18) stood out in the 3-1 test in Lünen (6th league) and not only earned special praise from head coach Edin Terzic (39) because of his goal.
The coach later said: “Prince Aning has been able to draw attention to himself.”
Even Bayern wanted him: Terzic has a Dutch prince!
Borussia clawed the nimble full-back from Ajax Amsterdam for a bargain price of 300,000 euros. In addition to them and Bayern, other top clubs from Europe were also interested in Prince Aning.
Dortmund had had their sights set on him for three years and now got down to business. Manager Sebastian Kehl (42) to BILD: “A young player with excellent facilities. He also made a strong impression in the Youth League games. We are happy to have gotten him.”
