Brahim, a firm bet – AS.com

Milan continues to bet heavily on Brahim Díaz. During his interview with AS, the Rossoneri coach Stefano Pioli declared that he wanted his continuity “of course” and that, with him, the same can happen as with Tonali: let your explosion come with time.

The man from Malaga has lived, since his arrival in San Siro, two fundamental courses for the entity. In the first there was the return to the Champions League after eight years of waiting, while in the second came a historic scudetto (which made him the third player in history, the youngest and the first Spaniard capable of winning La Liga, the Premier and Calcio), the only one of the Milanisti after a decade of bitterness.

Brahim had an important role in the title courseespecially in its first phase. He scored in the first nine official commitments, four goals and two assists, and was one of the best Rossoneri also in the opening clashes of the European Cup. Later covid stopped him for a monthit cost him to recover his state of form and Pioli himself acknowledged that, perhaps, some decision of his may have taken away his confidencealthough that did not prevent his decisive participation in fundamental matches such as the comeback of the second leg derby against Inter.

The coach, in addition to having spoken wonders about the player publicly, has always been transmitting confidence in him, confirming that he considers him a fundamental piece of his project.

Madrid is still very interested in the player’s evolution and, at the beginning of this market, it was not ruled out that he could call him back by interrupting the Italian assignment a year in advance. Finding an agreement with Milan, in this sense, would have been easy thanks to the great relations between the entitiesbut all parties agreed that it was best that Brahim will continue to grow in San Siro.

Spanish has found Italia a perfect environment, has evolved tactically and, after the first season carrying the responsibility of being considered a starter (and with the 10 rossonero behind him), in which he is about to start, the Milanese expect a lot from his talent. At 23 years old, all the best of his career is yet to come.
