BZ HOLIDAY ACTION: Two colours, eleven events and lots of new things – this is this year’s program with beautiful insights and outlooks /.

t’s summer, here we go again: The BZ holiday campaign starts on Thursday in Freiburg. This year we have set ourselves a very clear theme: black and white. We only say: sheep! We say: Teeth! And we say: Bat detectors! If you are now curious, you can find out on this page which events are attracting this year’s holiday campaign. As always, we would first like to thank everyone who takes part in these events, without their commitment the holiday fun would simply not be possible and would not be free of charge either. And please note: Online registration is required for all events (see info box). We will announce each of the eleven campaigns again about a week in advance with the exact address. Have fun!

Rathausgasse/corner of Rotteckring
We invite you to a guided tour with the director of the City Museum, Peter Kalchthaler. It is about the story of two Friborg monasteries, one black and one white. This includes a visit to a nun’s crypt. In the crypt and in the so-called wine cellar there is a lapidarium – unknown to many Freiburg residents – a collection of stones with 34 original tombstones that come from the old cemetery. Who knows that the local landmark of the Old Cemetery is “only” a replica?
