Beaumont-de-Lomagne. Beaumont karate club: assessment and belt presentation

It was at the dojo that the belt ceremony took place, and the annual general meeting of the Karate club Beaumontois, closing the 2021/2022 season. In the presence of David Arquié, deputy delegate for sports, the president presented the moral report: this year the number of licensees was up compared to last year: eight 5/8 year olds and 18 teenagers/adults, the rate of Attendance, in both groups, was greatest on Wednesday. In August a kempo course was organised, it was also open to Taichi and judo practitioners. In December, the departmental kata championship was hosted in the Dojo Beaumontois. This year, thanks to a subsidy from the Occitanie region, purchase of equipment, and financing of internships thanks to the aid of the town hall. A Krav Maga section, affiliated with the Beaumontois karate club, will open in September: lessons will be held in the archery room on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The treasurer then presented the financial report, which was positive this year, the volunteer workers not receiving any expenses. This could change… it should be noted that Roch, teacher of the teen/adult group, comes from Montauban twice a week. An exchange between speakers and parents brought to light certain difficulties linked to the late schedules of classes (end at 8:30 p.m.) for the youngest in the group of teenagers/adults. Professor Roch has no problem with some children leaving earlier. Following elections, the board of directors was modified, as well as the bureau. The evening ended with a convivial little meal “from the basket”.
