Bayern transfer window: Oliver Kahn closes the door to Cristiano Ronaldo, not Harry Kane

Absent for three weeks, Cr7 finally set foot in Carrington, in the Manchester United training center. Cited in several major European clubs, the Portuguese striker wants to leave the Red Devils.

On the other hand, recruiting the Portuguese star has never been in the plans of the Munich management. “We discussed this subject. Personally, I think Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers who have ever existed on this planet”Kahn told the Bild newspaper. “But we came to the conclusion that, despite all the esteem we all have for him, he would not have corresponded to our philosophy in the current situation”he added to the Bild newspaper.

On the other hand, Oliver Kahn would not say no to the best current English number 9, Harry Kane. “Harry Kane is an excellent striker who is under contract with Tottenham”he said about the one who could perfectly replace Robert Lewandowski, who left for Barcelona.

What future for CR7?

Indeed, the Lusitanian star criticized his current club for not being active enough on the transfer market. Returning to the Man U facilities, Cristiano Ronaldo was expected to chat with his new coach Erik ten Hag.

During these three weeks of the transfer window, the Red Devils recorded a few arrivals: Lisandro Martinez (defender of Ajax), Tyrell Malacia (left back of Feyenoord) as well as Christian Eriksen (midfielder of Brentford). All this is probably not enough for the competitor that is Cristiano Ronaldo, always in search of an additional trophy.

According to the Telegraph, an interview with his trainer Erik Ten Hag to discuss his future took place in recent days during which he reiterated his desire to leave.
