Bavaria is preparing a new offer for Mathys Tel

FC Bayern are currently working on signing Mathys Tel from Stade Rennes. According to consistent media reports, the French have rejected Munich’s first offer for the 17-year-old offensive all-rounder. According to reports, Bayern could soon improve.

In addition to Konrad Laimer and Matthjis de Ligt, France youngster Mathys Tel is also at the top of Bayern’s wish list this summer. According to “Sky”, the Munich team has already made an offer of seven million euros plus ten million euros in bonus payments for the youngster at Stade Rennes. However, this has already been rejected.

According to information from “L’Equipe”, Rennes demands more than 20 million euros for the young player. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at two million euros. Looking at Bayern’s first offer, this is not really an indication of a fee.

Where is Bayern’s financial pain threshold?

As “BILD” football boss Christian Falk reports, Bayern are still on Tel and want to start another attempt. Accordingly, the FCB is already preparing a second offer for the French U18 national team. How high the new offer will be is not known. According to Falk, everything is already clear on the player side: “FC Bayern sees incredible potential in Tel. The player also wants to take his next step in Munich and would like to switch to Bayern. His family is also totally convinced of his move,” he told FCBinside.

The agreement with the player gives Bayern a “good negotiating position”. From Falk’s point of view, the first offer was “just a signal to start the talks”.
