Basketball, Nba market: Gallinari “cut” by Spurs, can now sign with Boston

Danilo Gallinari still has to wait a couple of days, but then he can finally begin his new adventure with the Boston Celtics. The San Antonio Spurs have in fact finally ‘cut’ the blue contract, waiting for the last possible day (probably to understand if there was the possibility of inserting it in some market exchange) to make the ‘cut’ official that will allow Gallinari to earn 13 of the 21.5 million dollars foreseen by the agreement signed in 2020 with the Atlanta Hawks.

A guaranteed figure increased from 5 to 13 to make the exchange that brought Dejounte Murray to the Hawks work from a salary point of view, but which still allows the Spurs to have more space in the salary cap than any other team in the league (32 million dollars ).

Now Gallinari will have to wait 48 hours – which will expire at 21 Italian on Sunday 10 July – before being able to sign the 13 million dollar contract in two years already agreed with the Boston Celtics, as confirmed also by Bobby Marks of Espn who reported the news of the ‘cut’. A little more waiting and the blue will then be able to begin his adventure with the sixth different jersey in his NBA career.
