Seyoung Ahn advanced to the final by defeating Gregoria Mariska Tunjung (Indonesia) with a set score of 2-1 (21-18 13-21 21-8) in the 2022 Malaysia Masters Women’s Singles Semifinal held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the 9th.
Ahn Se-young, who is ranked 4th in the world, won the first set at the end of a close battle and was pushed out of the second set by momentum, but ended the game by winning the third set with unilateral performance.
With this, Ahn Se-young is aiming for the second championship of the season in three months since winning the Korean Open in April.
The final opponent is China’s Chen Yufei (World No. 3).
