As The Times reports, Nathan Aké is close to a move to Chelsea. Talks with Manchester City are well advanced. In the course of negotiations to bring Raheem Sterling to the Blues, the deal with Aké was also launched.

Also Koundé on the list

For the 27-year-old Dutchman it is a return to his old place of work. Aké was under contract at Chelsea between 2011 and 2017. During this time, however, he was repeatedly loaned to other clubs.

Aké made 14 Premier League appearances for City last season. His contract with the Skyblues runs until 2025. But the paths will probably separate now. In addition to the left foot, Chelsea also have Jules Koundé (23) from Sevilla on their wish list.
