Another of the clubs that will be the protagonist of the Prefederal Basketball Tournament 2022 es July 9. The team led by Gabriel Paolín will have as its maximum reinforcement Agustin Acunawho comes from a very good campaign in the Federal Basketball Tournament with Santa Paula de Gálvez.
The intern, who also knew how to pass through Sarmiento, San Martín, Ciclista Juninense and Argentino, will return to the Obelisk in good shape and will seek to guide his team to the maximum.
In dialogue with Democracia, Acuña told us his feelings:
“I feel good, I’m going back to number 9 because of the pain left over from last year after only playing six games until the knee injury. We have a nice team and we are going to fight at home and on the field where we have to play. The objectives of the club and the team are to always finish as high as possible. We are a team where most of the guys have a job and come running from work to train. That’s good because you can see the interest and commitment in the group and towards the club. We will seek to make a strong team that gives everything through that effort.”
This year, the “9” will not have Cattelani in the technical direction, but Gabriel Paolín, another experienced man in the city.
The bases will continue to be Nahuel Barrozo and Marcos Tercilla, in addition to ensuring the continuity of Federico and Santiago Bornic, key in the team’s scaffolding. Bautista Arrascaete will also continue for six more months at the club, so he will form a great couple with Agustín Acuña. There are negotiations for Juan Orcesi to return, after he passed through El Linqueño.

Conditions to participate
Knowing the number and geographical distribution of those registered, the form of the game will be defined, without first holding a meeting with all the participating institutions.
The start of the season is expected for the second half of August 2022.

The dates of the matches are based on Fridays, but it covers those that play Saturday or Sunday. In the cases of fixed dates, Friday or Saturday can be used, but not Sunday. Friday hours will be from 9:00 p.m. and Sundays will be from 8:00 p.m.
Team building
Up to 25 players may be registered in the general squad as follows: 10 older players 06 “U23” players and 09 youth players (19 years of age and under) completed in the year of the Tournament, authorized by the Club.
The Game Sheet will be made with a maximum of seven (7) older players – two (2) “U23” and three (3) younger. To start the match, the teams must present at least nine players, of which two (2) at least will be “U23” and two (2) minors, all of them ready to play before the start of the match.
The following team members may be seated on the team benches: One (1) Technical Director – one (1) Technical Assistant – one (1) Physician or Physician and up to seven (7) substitute players. That Technical Director and Technical Assistant who twenty (20) minutes before the start of the game does not present the updated credential (DT Level 3 and AT Level 2), granted by the National School of Trainers (Eneba), will not be able to perform functions or remain in substitute bench.
