The hottest name approached to Napoli in recent weeks is certainly that of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Spanish Chelsea goalkeeper. Napoli is looking for a new goalkeeper after the farewell of David Ospina and the continuing uncertainties of Alex Meret that do not make mister Luciano Spalletti feel comfortable. This is why the Azzurri are following Chelsea’s 1994-born goalkeeper with interest and would like to close the deal as soon as possible.
But if Napoli can close for Kepa, the future of Meret it could be far from Naples. The former Spal should have signed the contract renewal in recent weeks, but the arrival of another goalkeeper would change everything: Meret wants play as a starter and he may be looking for a new club to guarantee his place.
There would be a Premier League club that, however, would be thinking of Meret for its goal: according to what is reported Rai Sport, il Leicester is on his trail. The British are considering several names for replace Schmeichelcloser and closer to Nice, and Meret is on this list.
