Verstapens fastest Canadian GP in first practice: F1LV Blog

The Canadian “Grand Prix” weekend has started with Max Verstapen’s fastest result in the first practice races. The closest followers of the Red Bull pilot were Carlos Saincs and Fernando Alonso.

After a two-year hiatus, Montreal will once again host the F1 World Cup. In the first training session, which took place without major incidents, the season leader Verstapen showed the result 1: 15.158, beating Carlos Sainc of “Ferrari” by 0.246 seconds. Fernando Alonso was the third fastest, hopefully starting the weekend for the Alpine camp.

Serhio Peress was behind the first three, but Charles Leclera was in fifth place, starting from the first position in the last four consecutive stages. George Russell took sixth place.

The second training session will start tonight at midnight Latvian time.
